Launch Sesame officially launched its Grant Discovery Database, a free tool that aggregates South Korea's startup grant ecosystem for founders building in the country. The database covers 511 grant programs representing nearly ₩3.4 trillion KRW in available support for pre-incorporation, early-, and late-stage companies. Every program's details are available in Korean and English, making it accessible to Korean and international founders alike.
To be matched with relevant grants, users complete a two-minute, 12-question questionnaire covering startup stage, sector, intellectual property status, business location, Korean language fluency, and more. The database uses this information to sort every program into full matches, partial matches, and ineligible programs, and shows founders exactly which eligibility criteria they meet or fall short of for each one.
Beyond matching, the database tracks new application announcements in real time, and displays each program's typical timeline, including its usual announcement period, application window, and length of support. Founders can further narrow their matches using filters for application status, grant support category, region, support type, sector, and target group.
